David Gozal
Dr. Gozal is currently the Dean of the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and Vice-President for Health Affairs at Marshall University in West Virginia, a position he assumed in July 2023. He received his M.D. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and MBA degrees from Georgetown University and ESADE, completed
his pediatric residency at the Haifa Medical Center in Israel, and then spent 2 years in Cameroon, West Africa, developing rural healthcare networks, for which he received the title of “Knight of the Order of Merit”. He then completed his pediatric pulmonology and sleep medicine training at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and joined the faculty at the University of Southern California and UCLA. From there, he served in leadership roles at various leading universities including University of Chicago, Tulane University, University of Louisville and University of Missouri.

David McIntosh
David is a Paediatric ENT Specialist with a particular interest in airway obstruction, facial and dental development and its relationship to ENT airway problems, and middle ear disease. He also specialises in sinus disease and provides opinions on the benefit of revision of previous sinus operations. He is also passionate about Indigenous Health. He has undertaken advanced surgical training in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery and Paediatric training at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.

German Ramirez
Dr. Ramirez obtained his DDS degree from the Javeriana University in Colombia. He completed a
Pediatric Dentistry Diploma in Mexico, and trained in Orthodontics in Brazil. He completed a Master ofDental Sciences and a PhD in Oral Biology in Australia. He also holds a Master degree focusing in Craniofacial Pain and Sleep Apnea from Tufts University, USA. Dr. Ramirez has been an academic in USA and Canada. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentist of Canada and has his practice in Aurora, Ontario. Dr. Ramirez is the author of the books “Early Treatment of Malocclusions: Prevention and Interception in Primary Dentition” and his most recent one “Pediatric Airway-Focused Myofunctional Orthodontics”. He investigates on Craniofacial Growth and Development, the Patho-Physiology of Functional Disorders in the Cranio-Cervico-Mandibular system and how the craniofacial structures are modified by functional appliances. Dr. Ramirez’ philosophy is advocated to preventing before treating.

Join us for an unforgettable evening aboard the Skyline Princess, a private luxury yacht experience on the New York Harbor! Following a day of education and collaboration, the PAANNY Gala will bring together our speakers, attendees, and colleagues for an evening of exceptional food, music, and breathtaking views of the New York City skyline and the Statue of Liberty.

Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres, a buffet-style dinner, an open bar, and a celebration cake, all prepared and served aboard the yacht. The evening will continue with a live DJ on the upper deck, creating the perfect setting to relax, connect, and celebrate with the PAANNY community.
